Operator Safety  Lever operation simplifies tube insertion / removal (all sizes)  Protection screen for distillation chamber  Drip tray collects splashes  Zero pressure steam generator

Ecology & Standards  Performs to AOAC, EPA, DIN and ISO standards  Incorporates TEMS™ technology*  Automated water supply control reduces consumption

Entry-level Kjeldahl Distillation Unit

The Kjeldahl distillation unit UDK 129 runs automatically, after setting sodium hydroxide addition and distillation time using the LCD display in order to get reliable and accurate results. The high-precision pumps ensure constant accurate dosing of reagents and the cooling water is automatically stopped during pauses, thus cutting down on its consumption.

Technologically advanced, the distillation unit UDK 129 includes many features that ensure efficient and reliable distillation, far beyond expectations of an ordinary entry level unit.

Kjeldahl Distillation Units - TEMS™ Technology

Time Saving - Fast and frequent analyses; no heating delay between runs  Energy Saving - Cooling water consumption starting from only 0.5 l/min; excellent insulation  Money Saving - Cost reduction is substantial, in line with reduced power consumption  Space Saving - The extremely compact footprint saves useful laboratory bench space

Kjeldahl Distillation Units - Exclusive Titanium Condenser

VELP Scientifica has developed and patented the innovative titanium condenser able to ensure high performance and considerable water savings (from 0.5 l/min).  The graph shows the high efficiency of the titanium condenser compared to the traditional glass one available on the market. The titanium condenser ensures that distillate temperature always remains below the safe threshold value (35 °C), as indicated in the Kjeldahl method.

Kjeldahl Distillation Units - Maximum Safety Standard

UDK 129 Kjeldahl distillation unit ensures high safety standards because of the several safety features

1. Steam Generator without Pressure  2. Lever with Sensor  3. Protective Door with Sensor  4. Cooling Water Flow-Rate Detector  5. Test Tube Sensor  6. Drip Tray  7. Service Door (+ Electrical Shutdown)  8. Colored Inlet Reagent Tubes
