Features of AU Series Semi-Micro and Analytical Balances
Excellent Weighing Performance
Shimadzu’s compact UniBloc one-piece force cell and digital processing technology produce a stable, reliable, and fast weight response. Furthermore, the digital control can be set to automatically provide the most suitable data processing for the installation environment and weighing application.
Semi-Micro Models
The AUW-D models have dual-range weighing, with the option for semi-micro weighing. When using the semi-micro range, the AUW120D and AUW220D models have maximum capacities of 42 g and 82 g, respectively, with a minimum display of 0.01 mg.
AU Series Functions
The AU Series includes a multitude of functions applicable to a wide range of applications. The AUW, AUW-D, and AUX models possess multiple calibration functions. GLP, GMP, and ISO compatible reporting, an analog bar graphic display, piece counting, and a formulation mode are additional functions that improve workflow and efficiency, and are included in all AU Series models.
Specific Gravity Measurement
Upon installing the optional SMK-401 specific gravity measurement kit, the AU Series balances are capable of measuring specific gravity or density. Measurements are simplified by the AU Series’ built-in specific gravity measurement mode.
