Durable, High-Performance UniBloc Mass Sensor

The TX models contain Shimadzu’s durable, high-performance UniBloc aluminum alloy mass sensor. UniBloc excels in performance, resists deterioration and damage by ordinary impacts, and replaces the approximately 70 parts found in a conventional electromagnetic balance sensor assembly.

Easy-to-Operate Key Layout

Menu navigation keys are separate from weighing operation keys and are arranged in an easy-to-navigate circle.

Highly Visible Illuminated Display

A light blue backlit liquid crystal display is standard on all models and provides good visibility in all settings. On the TXB models, an additional power-saving feature is included, where the backlight automatically shuts off when idle and resumes when weighing begins again.

Multiple Weighing Functions

To support expanded applications the TX and TXB Series platform balances incorporate multiple built-in weighing functions. These include easy setting to easily adjust the desired ratio of stability and response, piece counting where up to five different samples can be easily entered, stored and recalled for use, and the ability to switch between many weighing units with a single touch.

Portable Battery Power

TXB models are powered by an AC adapter or batteries. Battery power makes the TXB models ideal for field use.
