Operator protection for microscope applications

The AirClean® Systems upflow microscope enclosure provides operator protection from harmful particulate or gases. Fume and vapor containment is achieved with AirClean Systems' state-of-the-art bonded carbon filtration; particulate containment is achieved through HEPA filtration. The AirSafe™ automatic safety controller constantly monitors filter and airflow conditions and provides one-touch control of all features. This configuration does not provide process protection and is considered to be a Class I BSC.

  • AirSafe™ automatic safety controller * Encloses equipment while retaining full operator access * HEPA filtration for capture of particulate to 0.3 microns in size * No ductwork required * No installation required - plugs directly into a standard 110V or 220V electrical outlet * Gas phase bonded carbon filtration * Lab event timer 

    Safety Features * Filter safety lockout to ensure correct filter replacement * Brushless, sparkless blower is post-filter * Low airflow alarm warns the user both visually and audibly * Filter and electronics are located above the workspace, eliminating the chance of a chemical spill entering these sensitive areas * Electronic gas detection for real-time gas phase filter monitoring * Tested to UL 61010-1,CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1, and EN 61326-1 * Real time monitoring of installed filtration bed
