The Micronic 138-2 HD Rack is developed for 138 individual 0.75ml internally threaded or externally threaded (hybrid) tubes, or for 0.80ml externally threaded tubes. With its honeycomb design, the high-density rack increases the number of samples that can be stored up to 43% compared to a standard rack in the ANSI/SLAS footprint. Absolute traceability and reproducibility on the racks is ensured through a unique laser-etched 1D barcode on the side of the racks. The open bottom design of the storage racks facilitates quick defrosting of samples and permits tubes to be manipulated by robotic systems avoiding time-consuming procedures.

- Ultra-low Temperatures: Made from Polycarbonate which has excellent properties for low temperatures
- Rnase/Dnase/Pyrogens: Free of any detectable RNase or DNase contamination and the endotoxin level of produced and packaged labware is limited to an acceptable minimum (< 0.01 EU/ml)
- Closed Rack Walls: Rack side walls are closed for easy gripping with most robotic arms
- Class 7 Clean Room: Micronic labware is manufactured and assembled in-house in a NEN-EN-ISO14644-1 Class 7 certified clean room environment
