This evaporator has a soft touch key pad and digital LED display that allows control and/or monitoring of rotation speed, bath temperature, and optional vapor temperature. Controls are mounted on the front for easy accessibility and high to prevent risk of splash from solvent spills or water bath. Trigger-action handle provides maximum control of lift operation from the front. Adjustable counterbalance mechanism compensates for weight differences due to glassware and sample sizes. A rubber-insulated trim ring surrounds the stainless steel bath for protection against burns and glassware breakage.  
  
The bath is separate from the drive so it can be repositioned to accommodate different size flasks. Water bath temperature ranges from ambient to 100°C, and the optional oil bath temperature ranges from ambient to 180°C. A high temperature safety limiter turns the bath off automatically should it run dry. The sparkless, high torque motor is belt driven for quiet, smooth operation. Glassware rotates from 0 to 250 rpm. A pivot control allows for different size flasks to be positioned at particular angles. Small footprint. All wetted parts are Teflon® coated or glass. Optional polycarbonate safety shield fits securely over the bath to protect against splashes or possible flask implosion. A side opening to the dome-shaped shield allows you to raise and lower glassware without removing the shield.
