Microprocessor control regulates heat and brings samples to desired temperature quickly and accurately. Easy-to-read LED display shows set point temperature and provides repeatable and accurate results. For additional safety, a warning light is illuminated when heat is turned on. The warning light remains on until the top plate cools down. The overshoot protection function will automatically shut the unit down if the set temperature is exceeded by 10°C, or if the stirrer motor stops or fails. Built-in memory allows users to recall the last set temperature even after the unit has been turned off. A powerful, continuous-duty motor and magnet deliver dependable and reliable stirring for a long service life.  
  
Choose from models with a ceramic or aluminum top plate. Ceramic top plates feature an easy-to-clean, chemical-resistant, reflective white surface. Durable aluminum top plates provide a more even heating surface and will not crack or chip.
