Anton Paar - Dynamic-Mechanical Thermal Analysis
Manufactured by Anton Paar
Dynamic-Mechanical Thermal Analysis (DMTA)
The Physica MCR rheometers not only carry out rheological measurements in shear, but can also be used for material characterization in torsion and extension. In combination with the convection heating systems CTD 180, CTD 450 and CTD 600, the instruments carry out the dynamic-mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA) of solids as well as films and fibers. The system's large temperature range allows the characterization of material properties from the glassy to the rubber state and the melting point.
