Portable: Operate with AC power or 9V battery (except MXX-123). In battery mode, the unit will shut off automatically if not in use and also alerts operator when battery is low. Small size (9.8 L x 7.1 W x 3.1 H) and light weight (less than 3 lbs.) suits on-the-go needs. Toggle between two weighing modes. Choose from 13 total weigh units including grams, carats, pounds, ounces, lb/oz and grains. Or set your own conversion using the USB or RS232 port.

RS232C or USB interface port: Add an RS232 or USB port to any MAXX Series balance to send balance results to a computer or printer. Not interfacing now, but might in the future? The interface port can be added at any time with a snap-in connection on the bottom of the balance.
