The RFM900 series refractometers comprises two standard models for single application measurement and a flow type instrument.
The RFM900 series of Peltier temperature controlled refractometers comprises two standard models for single application measurement and a flow type instrument. All models cover a measuring range between 1.30 and 1.70 RI such as is the requirement of the pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, aroma, flavour and fragrance industries.
Features include a unique RFID tag identifier that allows rapid identification of users and provides access control to the configuration menu. The instrument conforms to US, European and UK Pharmacopoeia and can be formatted to control data in accordance with FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11, making it ideally suited for use in restricted areas such as in the pharmaceutical industry.
The RFM960 and RFM970 conforms to petroleum test method ‘ASTM 1218’ for single wavelength measurement and features special software to calculate carbon type composition of mineral insulating oils in accordance with ASTM d 2140 and for aqueous urea solution analysis in accordance with ISO22241, the RFM990-AUS32 provides absolute conformity.
The RFM990 flow model is specifically available as a high accuracy version only that may be fitted with one of a number of flow cell variants allowing connection to automated systems such as those found in the beverage, sugar and flavours industries in amongst others.
