CE 7200 Double Beam UV/VIS Spectrophotometer
The Aquarius UV/Visible Double Beam Scanning Spectrophotometer operates throughout the wavelength range of 190-900nm. With a symmetrical double beam optical system, an optical bandwidth of just 1.8nm, stray light of less than 0.01% and wavelength selection to 0.1nm outstanding accuracy is achieved.
Scan software enables wavelength scans to be performed at speeds ranging form 1 to 4000nm/min and plotted directly to an external printer or transferred to PC. All spectra are fully annotated for wavelength and absorbance value with fully documented reports produced automatically. Spectral reprocessing allows spectra to be replotted, overlaid and stored. Standard software includes method storage, curve fit and storage of up to 30 curves, linear, quadratic or cubic forced through the origin, if required, with up to 30 standards for each. Absorbance ratios, difference, kinetics, band quantification and validation for wavelength, absorbance value, stray light and bandwidth are provided.
The instrument may be connected directly to an external printer or to a PC with data being transferred to or controlled directly from Microsoft Excel programs. Additional operator training for PC based software applications is eliminated.
The unique screen display with scrolling to a maximum width of 550mm facilitates excellent clarity of plots and reports. Operational software may be enhanced at any time to add further operational functions including formula programming, wavelength scanning and kinetics.
A wide range of accessories for sample handling and temperature control may be added.

Powerful Integral Control Rapid operation with ease of use is provided by the powerful software built into the computing system of the Aquarius instruments. The standard software is remarkably comprehensive but may be expanded, at any time, by E-SEF to release additional software modules when required.
Double Beam Optical System The fully symmetrical double beam system of the Aquarius instruments provides for the highest accuracy of measurement coupled with a very high level of stability with time.
Both sample and reference beams are provided with the same sampling space and facilities, thus catering for the widest possible range of experimental requirements and not limited to just a single cell in the reference beam.
Scans Viewed By Scrolling By scrolling information across the display screen, the effective width of the screen is increased to a massive 550mm.
Long scans, plots and other data may be viewed in much more detail, than with other instruments as viewing is not limited to one screen width of information.
Rapid Menu Operation The large backlit high resolution LCD screen displays menus for all applications, with clear prompts for all entries and procedures. Scans, plots, curves and data are all displayed on the screen and may be reprocessed or manipulated before storing or producing a printout.
Secure Integral Memory Generous built in secure memory allows scans, curves, plots, Kinetic curves, as well as methods to be stored tamper proof protected by personal security codes.
Any scans, plots or data may be recalled from memory, with assured integrity, for reprocessing, manipulation and printing as required.
Dynamic Scan Recall The Aquarius instruments are provided with the ability automatically to store the last eight scans or plots without the need to carry out a scan storage procedure.
The scans or plots are automatically stored as they are made and may be recalled simply by entering their sequence number.
The recalled plots may then be reprocessed, manipulated, overlaid with another live scan, or scan recalled from memory. The recalled, or reprocessed scan, may then be stored in integral memory security code protected.
