CM Technologies Oy, formerly Chip-Man Technologies Oy, is a privately owned company headquartered in Tampere, Finland. The company was founded in 2002 through a partnership between Tampere University of Technology and the Finnish Research Organisation, VTT to address a specific cell biology research need. This partnership brought together researchers with expertise in cell biology, cell imaging, microscopy, engineering and machine vision technology. The goal was, and still is today, to provide cell biologists from all disciplines with tools that will help further advance their research. Cell-IQ® platforms are used globally for plethora of applications from cell biology, functional genomics, drug discovery, in vitro fertilisation, in vitro toxicology, stem cell research and regenerative medicine by researchers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic research institutes, government and hospital facilities.
