We used to be known as Ramsey but through various acquisitions and mergers during he past few years, we're now known as Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global $10 billion company. The Ramsey product line of Thermo Electron Corporation’s Process Instruments Division is a specialty line of industrial in-motion weighing, inspection, monitoring and control equipment. These products are used for process control, production monitoring and automation. They are marketed worldwide to the coal and minerals mining, cement, construction, aggregates, electric utilities, chemical processing, plastics and food industries, among others. The Ramsey product line consists of belt conveyor scales, weighbelt feeders, tramp metal detectors, coal and mineral sampling systems, level indicators, conveyor safety switches and a variety of other specialty process control instruments. All Ramsey products are ISO 9001 certified.
