If the motor doesn't work, you will haven't a good temperature control, so CO2 control will be bad too.

The motor have to be change.

May you move it with hand?

I'm  supposing after repairing this motor it was relocated in incubator and was turning for a time.  If that isn't so, (motor didn't turn any time after repairing), probably the controller is damaged. Try to plug a bulb lamp  (incasdencent type of same voltage) instead of motor and this must light. In other, the board is blame.

Hi Roble,

The motor is directly connected to the lines and the board is not the matter.

Can you turn it with hand? or not?

THe motor can't be repaired. it just can be changed.

If the motor is sticking you can replace the bearings.  They are not your run of the mill bearing by any chance.  The size in in mm   6.35 x 22 x 7mm

Part number BB-1023  or 627N1Z or B6Z-48AZ2

Two small black bolts hold the mount in place.  Back the 2 bolts out.  The bearing both have a plastic cover that comes off.  Press off the bearings gently not to bend the shaft and them press the new bearings on.  Mine works like a champ now.  Use some alcohol to clean the spindle and make sure it is free from nicks.

If you want to replace the entire motor good luck. The motor is made by Jakel and the part number is J238-062-6082. I have not had any luck in finding a source for a new motor that matches the part outside of Fisher.  The motor is around $280.
