Sorval M120 SE Alarm E39

I got an error code with our Sorval M120 SE ultracentrifuge last night, and I can’t find the code in the operator’s manual. I was running an empty S120-VT rotor overnight on a test spin @ 37,000 rpm, set the temp for 10 degrees and the time for “HOLD", and watched it run for 2 hrs last night before going home. This morning I came in and the rotor was stopped with an "Alarm E39" indicated. Temp and vacuum held. Is this something I can fix in-house, or $$$?

A quick follow-up: Reset the error codes, started a second test run and the centrifuge will pull a vacuum and run at the correct speed, but does not appear to be cooling the chamber.  Is this straight-forward to fix?
