Gas Chromatograph query
For Perkin Elmer GC 8700 , FID detector flame keeps going off after a few sample injections. what could be wrong? gas quality? hydrogen restrictor?

It could be insufficient sample vaporization or your detector gas flow rates may be too low. Try raising detector temperatures/flow rates.
