Receivng a "Light Path <>" error on start up.
Instrument seems to work ok.
UV lamp has MANY hours on it.

The UV lamp is not used as part of the start up process but should be replaced if you actually have need for it, especially for nucleic acid work. Chances are, assuming there's no cell in the holder, that your visible lamp needs to be replaced. Try that while following the replacement procedure in the operator's manual and get back to me if that doesn't fix the problem.
