Using SepMate on Cord Blood

When using a standard 50 ml conical tube with ficoll as the density medium, there are always nucleated RBCs that colocalize with MNCs at the ficoll/plasma interface. Will SepMate prevent this contamination of these nucleated RBCs in the buffy layer?
