Perkin Elmer Series 200 HPLC system - autosampler issue

Dear Friends, our autosampler has broken down due to faulty PCB for which PE has quoted USD 2760.00. We find its too expensive. Does any one know how much this should cost ? Also would like to know if we can installe a Rheodyne Injector inplace of the autosampler or whether we can buy any other autosampler injector system and fix on this series 200 unit.

Hi Ajoy,

You can indeed install a rheonyne manual injector with switch, It will cost you less than half the cost for a brand new one. You would however have a manual injector instead of an autosampler, it is ok if you have only a few samples to inject.

I can supply you the Rheodyne if you wish or an autosampler much more reliable than your PE200. If interested, send me a private mail to

Happy new year

Ajoy,

I'm not sure if you've found a solution yet, but my group has used PE 200 autosamplers available for about USD 1300 as well as a wide range of other lab equipment. We could provide either the entire module or just the PCB. Feel free to visit our site:
