replacing a pump

I need to replace the pump assembly in a ICS2000. Can anyone give some pointers on how to remove the defective pump? When we open the left side panel it appears as if there isn't enough room to remove the pump. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like the standoffs that support the pump are just in the way; they unscrew from the frame.  Before you get too far into it, you should know that there are usually service-level calibration values that need to be entered in order for the new pump to work optimally.   So you may end-up having to call-in the dionex service guy anyway.

As always: make sure to wear ESD protection and have the power-cord unplugged before you stick your hands in there.
