oven sensor missing

GC 6850, by the message that appears on the front of the GC and the temperature value reported on the window ON-LINE ChemStation (0 ° C) hypothesize that the temperature sensor (thermocouple) is broken. If so, how do you replace it? Thank you.

Claudio,

The entire oven shroud (both heater and sensor) have to be replaced as a unit.  There are different part numbers based on system voltage.  It is a relatively easy fix but you do have to remove side panels and make some electrical connections.  Make sure you unplug the instrument before proceeding with any work.
