2 Month Review

We had our 1030 installed in early June after running our 1010 into the ground. I wanted to wait until we had a few months of running before giving any kind of review. The instrument has performed for us as advertised. We have enjoyed the increased capacity of the rotary autosampler. The speed benefits of the dual column are not quite as advertised, as the rinse between samples takes up a lot of the time saved. However, we have noticed a 15-20% gain in time. I had a few questions with the instrument operation that came up a few days after the install was done and I got some quick responses from technical support in getting them answered. We have noticed a temperature reliance. The installation specifications say that you need to have the temperature not change by more than so much over a certain period of time. We have found that it really shouldn't change over the entire course of that run in order for the results to stay consistent.
