Speed Vac is freezing my samples

Our Savant SpeedVac AS160-120 is evaporating our samples as well as freezing them. I was wondering how to get it to only evaporate our sample, or if anyone knew how I could get a manual for the machine.

Thanks!

I'm guessing you're evaporating a solvent mixture, such as ACN and water. Vacuum control will help greatly with this. Either a programmed stepped level, or an adaptive controller. Some trial and error may be involved to optimize the process.

Thank you to Akbar Anwari for providing this response to LabWrench

Another thing you can try is increasing the chamber temperaure at the beginning of the evaporation process.  During initial evaporation evaporative cooling can freeze some samples.  By adding heat at the beginning, you can prevent the freezing.
