Shimadzu TOC-L Series Area Counts

I have two L Series insturments. One has the acid kit on it and one does not!  I run NPOC on the one with out the acid kit and the one with the acid kit I run TOC.  The one I run TOC on is down so I am trying to set up TOC on the other instrument. I have them set up the same way but I am getting very different are counts between the two instruments. Couls this be because of the acid kit?

You are right. Injection volume, flowrate is different, depending on the IC kit installation or not. So the surface are different... but don't worry, results will be good too.
