won't power on

Hi, I have a Mettler AE163 that won't power on and the fuse is fine.  I'm wondering about buying a donor machine with a good power supply and putting it in my machine. Is that something a bright guy could do himself to resurrect an otherwise good machine? Are similar looking models all using the same power supply? Thanks, Dale

Hi Dale,

Unfortunately, the AE163 was phased out in 1986 and parts are no longer available.  We do not carry parts for any of the AE balance line.  We could possibly have some balance demo units available for replacement purposes, just depends on the region.  If you would like information on that, please contact our team at LabInsideSales@mt.com and they will get you information or a quote.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Hi Dale,

Shoot me an email with all the details of your unit. I might be able to help you out.
