Fatal Error #401
How can this error be cleared? It was working without any problems yesterday. Now the instrument won't read the Abs on a plate due to this error.

Reply byCheck the optical alignment, you will have to disassemble and remove optical cover. The light should fall square on the slit. Call me at Phoenix Equipment in Rochester. A & K Biosource are the pros on this, but these plate readers are quite expensive to repair/calibrate.
