J6-MC not setting speed

Hello all,

We have a J6-MC which has  a problem. When we set speed the speed value will blink but nothing more. We can set time. It will not spin at any speed because of this. It seems to not want to "accept" our specified speed. Tried CE turn off/on etc to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you are entering the rotor ID. Press the rotor button and then enter the rotor (4.2 or 5.2), then speed.

There are two ways to enter your run parameters on this centrifuge. First, push the button for the parameter you want to enter and enter the value. At this point, either hit the "enter" button or select another parameter to edit which will store the value you entered. After you have entered and stored your last value and assuming the door is closed, hit "enter" and then "start" and the run should begin. Remember, the speed that you enter MUST be within the operational speed range of the rotor you selected. Otherwise you will probably continue to get what you are currently seeing.
