Allegra 64R error message Err99
We get the Error message: Err99 before the centrifuge can get up to speed. What does this mean and how do we fix it? Thanks, Mike

Error 99 indicates an invalid Rotor code. Wrong Id # has been input by user.

Actually, an error code 99 can also be due to a bad rotor ID sensor. Obviously recheck the rotor code that was entered but if it is not that then you have an electronic issue that needs service.
