L8-70 Programmed speed is lost upon starting

Hello,

No previous issues, dry cycle after each use, ran fine the day before. After programming the centrifuge and pressing auto-run, the compressor/vacuum engage. However the rotor never starts spinning and a check of the programmed speed now reads 0. Rotor is not jammed/obstucted. Thoughts?
