Headstage Multiclamp 700B

We are planning to test amperometry experiments using the Multiclamp 700B potentiostat, and seems the head stage 7B where a range of +/- 1V potentials can be applied. however reading there is a 7B/EC stage that have wider range of potentials, which is not needed for our experiments, but are there any other difference in features between the head stages that benefit using a 7B/EC headstage?
