I have the same problem.

Can I ask how did you fix it?

Please send more information about the problem you are having to uslabtechsupport@mt.com  and we will help you further!  Fatal error is just a generic phrase for any error that won't let you continue to use the instrument.  There should be an error number diplaying in a pop up message or on the terminal of the instrument.

I also have this problem (fatal error), on quite and old DSC instrument. 

Any advice?
