Polychrome V: Problem with Ignition
I have a polychrome V, with the first lampe it was very fine, but after 3 years of usage we have to replace the lampe. I put exactly the same model from USHIO (UXL-S150MO) but after about 5 On/ Off cycles, problems with ignition begin to happen. There are days where the ignition is totally impossible. Suprisingly it is possible to get the system started with the old lampe or when the housing system was removed; we found that because an technician wanted to see what was wrong, and when he opend it it worked without any problem. after putting the whole system to gether, we could switch it for 3 cycles and we came back in troubles
Is there anyone who have made similar experience?
Reply byI have the same problem, my polychrome V was working fine and suddenly, one day it started to fail. I'm experiencing that when the lamp turns on, it last like 1 minute to 3 minutos turned on and then it just shuts off. I don´t know what could be happening but i wish someone answers to me please.
