Issues balancing
Our scale is having issues taring. Once you press tare, it intially shows zero, but then begins to rapidly start climbing in the negative direction and contuies indefinitely. If you try to weigh something, it takes an extremely long time and normally does not stabalize because the values are continuing to change. Any troubleshooting ideas?
Reply byThe problem could be static. Check static by placing a metal object onto the pan of the balance like a paper clip of a mg weight. Does themetal object weigh correctly or does it drift. If it weight correctly the problem is static if it stil drifts and the envirnment is free of vibration and draft the problem is internal tot he balance. If it needs to be repaired contact right away since service parts are being discontinued this year.
