Did you ever get a reply to this?  I want to replace the primary thermostat in my New Brunswick G25 and I also need to know the make and model of a thermostat that will work as a replacement.

Those thermostats (if they are mechanical) can be easily disassembled & the contacts polished, which usually puts them back in operation.   Additionally, a solid-state relay can be used to interface between the thermostat & heater, greatly reducing the electrical load on the thermostat.   One screw removes the cover from the back of the themostat & contacts can then be polished.   I usually use a wire brush in a dremel tool to lightly shine them up.   If the spring is removed, use a flat blade screwdriver to ease it back into positon before assembly.   Hoping this herlps,

Ben
