Dosing unit freezing

We have experienced our dosing units squealing and then freezing. It only happens on one of our titrators and we've had to replace the dosing unit 3 times in the last few years. It is the dosing unit that is used the most but the titrator isn't run all day and only 3 days a week. Has anyone else experienced this?
