Fiberlite F13-14 x 50cy for use in Beckman J2-21M
Hello all,
Does anyone know what rotor setting to input in the Panel settings of J2-21M for this rotor?
It is currently on 20.0 setting which I am assuming it is for the JA20 rotor.
Greatly appreciate it if anyone can help.

Reply byI don't personally have access to that info anymore but your rotor manual should give you the corresponding setting for proper usage of that rotor. Just remember, a composite rotor does NOT cool at the same rate as an all aluminum rotor so you will probably have to do some experimenting as to what temperature offset you may need to program into your centrifuge to get reliable temperature control of the rotor. A frozen sample in the rotor is not going to do your sample or the rotor a lot of good.
Don
