Can't open front door (latch broken)

Hi, 

Bit of a fiddle this one.  The only way to get the door open is to get at the nut on the backside of the locking bolt. 

This is situated at the bottom of the chassis, in a central position along the bottom.  You will have to remove the bottom grill and then push your way through a little insulation possibly, with a spanner to remove the nut.  Once you have done this you should be able to open the door.

The latching mechanism itself sits within the door casing.  You will have to remove the door to get access to this.  You can buy replacement parts from Eppendorf (who now own Innova).
