How to place the

Hi,

I've just bought a used 1512 and the OEM manual (section 2, page6), says that there is blocking for the sample-transport mechanism both above and below that has to be removed.

Obviously, Leitz though this was necessary to protect the instrument in transit.

I would like to know (soon, please!...the seller s waiting!) how this blocking was arranged by Leitz, and any suggestions on how I might accomplish the same thing without recourse to the original blocking pieces.....those are long-since thrown away.
