Automatic data acquisition

Dear Sir/Madam,

  Our lab in the biotech department at IIT Madras uses the FOSS NIRSystems Vision® software for online monitoring of bioprocesses.    Could you kindly help us with the following: We want to automatically extract the NIR data in a specific folder at every time interval of monitoring, so that the data could be used simultaneously for process control. We need some guidance on how the data acquisition (if possible in excel format) can be done automatically for discrete monitoring at a specified time interval.   We would be grateful for your help.
