6980 GC Area counts

I am trouble shooting an increase in area counts on a 6890GC. The area counts have doulbe on the fron of the instrument.

I have changed everyting from filters all the way through colum. I changed the collector plates in the detector as well as cleaned the dector. I have created a new method . I have taken the sample vial and run on the front and the back.

I am still getting almost, if not more than twice the area counts on the front as the back.

I am at a loss.
