Its head height, simple structure, reliable work, but the meteor is small, suitable for mobile drainage and irrigation; The double-suction centrifugal pump takes water from the two sides of the impeller with a flow twice as much as the single-suction pump, but its structure is complex, so it is suitable for the fixed farm drainage station with large flow and high head. Ordinary centrifugal pump needs to discharge the air in the pump shell and inlet pipe before working. For small pump, it is necessary to fill the chestnut shell and inlet pipe with water. For large mercury pump, it is necessary to have special auxiliary equipment to pump air and divert water. Another form of centrifugal pump is self-priming centrifugal pump. At present, there are three kinds of pumps used in agriculture irrigation: single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump, single-stage double-suction centrifugal pump and small-sized self-suction centrifugal pump.
