Error Code 1038

I turned on the instrument and after about 10-15 min it starts making the same noise that it does while setting up the lamps but displays a message stating, "Spectrometer could not complete measurements... ...1038" Nothing has been changed since the last time it was used and this is the first time I am seeing this. Please provide some guidance as to what the issue could be. Thank you,
