analysis of results

Hello! I'm trying to understand what the device is providing when it shows q3,% particle distributions. Does it show: quantity/count distribution or volume distribution? Usually these types of equipment can also show mass distributions, but i think there's only two options in case of SALD-2201. Basically my question is this: does q3 corresponds to number of particles of given dia or it corresponds to volume of particles of given dia? In both cases i mean relative values..
