Error 1 Message

So this lab’s centrifuge has been giving me the error 1 code since last week when the lab requested that I grease the mechanisms associated with the door and it requiring too much force to close. I tried using another (of the same) rotor and it still wouldn’t detect the speed of it. After getting up to 720 rpm it would start giving the error code. Anyone have any advice? I tried getting it into the service mode and using SE 8 to see if there were issues with the rotor, and when asking me to spin it, the display never changed. The only thing I haven’t tried of all the quick fixes I found across the web is cleaning it. Edit: Cleaning it did not help the issue.
