DISPLAY ERROR 621

My multiwave had a battery problem and I replaced both. After this change, the equipment asks for flashupdate, which I also did. After turning the equipment off and on again, it asks for the update again.... After updating and not turning off the equipment, it appears normal, but when it starts operating in the menus, an error appears saying: "The Display Check reported an error! The Display had to be initialized." I've already contacted Anton Paar's website but still haven't gotten a response. I appreciate anyone who can help me.

Hello, regarding the update screen after the instrument was switched off - this would indicated that the replace battery is not providing enough voltage to the board. Given that you have used a new battery, I would focus on the contacts of the battery holder - maybe they have some pollution or crust on them. For the display check error, in best case it could indicated that the signal cable is loose (or polluted at the contacts) and therefore the display is not addressed properly. In worst case it could indicated that the display or CPU card itself starts to fail. If you could provide me with your contact details (please send them to "support-asc[at]anton-paar.com", I could get you in contact with the service organisation responsible for your country. Best regards from Austria, René
