Can't get past date/time screen

I have a S41i CO2 incubator/shaker that was purchased in 2013 but has not been used in about 4 years. I inherited the shaker when someone moved, and I have never used it. When I recently tried to turn it on, the touch screen showed the initial display saying Eppendorf New Brunswick S41i Version 1.90 Incubator Shaker, with the happy face in the top left corner indicating software OK. The next screen, according to the manual, should be the status screen with a button to go to the menu. Instead, I got the date and time screen, and I could not change the date and time from the default 15 March 2000. I could not get to the screen with the menu button. How should I go about getting the shaker repaired? Is there a board, touchscreen, or other part that likely needs replacement? Thanks!
