Too much time to initiate or tare

Citizen CG 2202 digital weighing machine is taking too long time to complete initialisation. It's hanging up , after initially displaying & checking the digits (1...8,9, 8). After almost 1-2 minutes it's displaying the weight. If it's again, its taking 1-2 minutes Why or what could be the problem ???
