Picture display not working correctly in Diamet programs

After logging in this morning, I went to do weekly microhardness checks. Everything works as normal but the picture display screen was black. I can manually increase and decrease the illumination settings and see a noticeable change in the black screen to a lighter tone, but that's as far as it will go. At no point does it show anything but a black or gray screen regardless on what settings are used. Thank you for any and all help.
