The oven on my HP 5890 does not heat

The oven on my HP 5890 does not heat, it displays the message “Warn: Oven Shutoff” on the display.

A) There are a few probable causes for your oven not working in the HP 5890. It could be a faulty fuse in F4 or F5 of the main board, a faulty power supply on the circuit board or a faulty PCB all together. A) Check that the oven heater is not open. A) Check both of the fuses, if either fuse is bad then replace them. A) Check the resistance of the oven heather, if it looks like a dead or near short, then replace the oven heater element.
