C02 measurement by manual shaking method versus Carbo QC carbonation meter

Hi, Is there a relation between the values obtained by the manual shaking method and the Carbo QC carbonation meter method.

If CO2 is the only gas present, and there is no head space available in the package for a gas-liquid phase, then yes.

I agree with kristen we have tried before by making evaluation thru parallel test to determine the difference as a guide.

Dear All, hi, 

have you reach to a conclusion? I am interested on measuring CO2 content in Pet bottles (50 cl) and trying to establish an offset value. Also do you have any clues on what values the various Kxxx parameters should have ? Measuring on Mineral water and medium Brix beverages.
